The World Wide Web is not only a way to publish our students' work to the world, and gather information around the globe, it is also a way to distribute information within our District. These so-called Intranets are the fastest growing use of the WWW.
We are looking forward to the day when WADs, requisitions, and the myriad bureaucratic procedures for transporting dead trees around the District will be replaced by the flow of electrons;-)
The District has accepted California's Challenge to Raise Standards and teams of teachers worked this summer to develop draft Content and Performance Standards to serve as discourse documents this year as we develop standards and assessment to raise our students' achievement.
