Hurricane Mitch

Hurricane Mitch came into land September 27, with winds up to 180mph. Hurricane Mitch was the fourth strongest hurricane since hurricane Gilbert in 1998. Mitch hit all most of Central America leaving thousands of deaths, people without homes, people missing and destroyed areas.

The most effected area was,Honduras along with Nicaragua, El Salvador, The Carribean, Guatemala, parts of Mexico, Costa Rica and Belize. Almost 10,000 people died all over Central america. This page is dedicated to all the people who experienced this horrible disaster.

Lots of contributions were made all over the world, like the Red Cross, CARE, Doctors without Borders, Adventist Development and Relief Agency {ADRA},Childreach, Christian Children's Fund and Many more contributed to help the people that were affected in this hurricane.

"This was so terrible, the saddest thing that ever happend to us, and the worst thing is that the children suffer," said a man from Nicaragua. This is one off the things that went thruogh people minds because of this horrible nightmare. "I wish that I could wake up and forget that everything happend," said a young girl from El Salvador.This was the deadliest storm in Central America.

A lot of people suffered of Epidemics and there wasn't enough medical attention.
