Holla! Our names are Kristin and Khulan. We go to Roosevelt Middle School. Our favorite sport is Basketball and Volleyball. Kristins favorite rappers are Chingy,Nelly, 50 cent. Khulans favorite rappers are Nelly and 50 cent. The websites we go on most are www.yahoo.com and www.xanga.com . We both have brothers and of course parents. Except Khulans brother is younger and my brother is older.

Khulan's Culture Story

Once upon a time there was a king named Gengis Khan . He had 5 sons one was 15 , others were 10, 8 , 6, 4. One day Gengis Khan got in a war and he died. But before he died he left a letter and he told his family that each of them will own a city. The oldest one was granted the north city. The 10 year old was granted the east city. The 8 year old was granted the south city.The 6 year old was granted the west city. Then, Gengis Khan relized, he was out of cities to give to his sons, but he was going to get one for his youngest son . He thought and thought, he remembered and he was going to pass away soon, then it hit him! He went to his youngest son and said " Son, you are granted the Center Of Mongolia. So that is how we had kings at diffrent cities at Mongolia.

Kristins Culture Story

Once upon a time in China , in a small village near a very small pond, there were 3 girls. The first girl was named Hung Ye and she was very selfish. The second girl was named Jung Ki and she was very smart and obidient. The last girl was named Joey Yu and she was jus t regular girl. One day Joey Yu looked at herself in the mirror and thought she had boring black hair. The other girls had brown highlights and so much life in their hair. Then the next day, Joey Yu decided to go to the salon down the village. It took her an hour because the villagers were trying to sell her some rice and other things. When she finally got to the salon, the barbor showed her a book of colors she could dye her hair with. Joey Yu looked at all of them, but she thought they were all too colorish. The next day they had a birthday party and there were all these cute guys. Her 2 friends did not attract any but Joey Yu did. They all loved her plain black hair. So now, Joey Yu learned that you should be happy with what you got, because you never know when it will bring a smile.
